Hardknott Forest is in the Duddon Valley, in the Lake District National Park. We would love you to visit the project to see the work we have been doing. The easiest place to access the forest is from the Forestry England Hardknott Car Park at Birks Bridge (Landranger Map 96. Grid ref: SD234 995).

Sat nav - The closest village is Seathwaite (Broughton-in-Furness) Be aware that there are two Seathwaite's in the Lake District - and it's 1.5 hr drive if you get the wrong one!

The closest train station is Foxfield.
