April 2021: Volunteering restarts this month. Contact us for more information, or to book on to a day.

Advance notice: The bridge between Seathwaite and Hardknott forest will be closed for essential maintenance from 19 July to 22 August. Access to this section of the valley will be from Wrynose Pass or Hardknott Pass (both very steep roads). Contact us for more details, or if you plan to visit. More information on volunteering, and how this will affect us, will be in our newsletters and social media.

February 2021: Volunteering is currently paused. We are ready to resume later in the year. Sign up to our newsletter or contact us to keep in touch. Staff are still able to work on site and in the ‘office’, and we have plenty of plans for 2021.

October 2020: Regular volunteer days have successfully restarted this month. Group sizes are limited to six and are filling up rapidly. We are adding an extra day per month to accomodate this. Please contact us for more information.

September 2020: We plan to restart our regular volunteer days in October with limited group size. Please contact us in advance for details.
